React js Developer
Job Description
We are looking for a 4 - 6 years experienced JavaScript developer who is proficient with React.js. Your primary focus will be on developing user interface components and implementing them following well-known React.js workflows (with Context API or Redux.You will ensure that these components and the overall application are robust and easy to maintain. You will coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the infrastructure.Therefore, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and quality product is important.
Responsibilities
- Strong understanding of HTML5 markup language including semantic HTML, forms, audio/video embedding, canvas, and SVG.
- Proficiency in CSS3 including layout techniques, responsiveness, Flexbox, Grid, CSS preprocessors like SASS or LESS, and understanding of browser compatibility issues.
- Basic to intermediate understanding of JavaScript programming language including DOM manipulation, event handling, AJAX, ES6 syntax, closures, and callbacks.
- Familiarity with React.js library including component-based architecture, JSX syntax, state management (useState, useReducer), props, hooks, and lifecycle methods.
- Knowledge of Tailwind CSS, a utility-first CSS framework, including utility classes, responsive design with breakpoints, customizing configurations, and optimizing for production.
- Familiarity with Bootstrap framework for building responsive and mobile-first websites, including its grid system, components, and utility classes.
- Understanding of Foundation framework for frontend development, including its grid system, components, and responsive design features.
- Knowledge of Materialize CSS framework based on Material Design principles, including its components, typography, and color schemes.
- Experience with frontend development tools like Webpack, Babel, npm or Yarn, and version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Knowledge of responsive web design principles and techniques to ensure cross-device compatibility and optimal user experience.
- Ability to use browser developer tools for debugging and optimizing frontend code.
- Understanding of basic design principles such as typography, color theory, and layout to collaborate effectively with designers.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and debug frontend issues efficiently.
- Good communication skills to collaborate with designers, backend developers, and other stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy and consistency in frontend implementation according to design specifications.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and frameworks as per project requirements.
Skills
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model
- Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles
- Experience with popular React.js workflows such as Hooks, Context API or Redux.
- Familiarity with newer specifications of ECMAScript
- Experience with data structure libraries (e.g., Immutable.js)
- Knowledge of isomorphic React is a plus
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs
- Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token
- Typescript knowledge will be a plus
- Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tool
- Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.
- Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
- A knack for benchmarking and optimization
- Familiarity with code versioning tools such as Git
